This plant earned its name because it can bloom every month of the calendar year (in some climates). They’re known as a “polycrest” due to their versatility to benefit multiple body systems for both acute and chronic ailments. Whether it’s for topical irritation or healing digestive tissues, Calendula has a wide range of internal and external uses. It is also gentle and safe enough for children!

Why we love this herb:
One of Calendula’s biggest virtues is to bind and bond things back together. We see this exemplified in its solar orientation, facilitating us to return to a state of wholeness and connecting us to the truest aspects of ourselves. Which orients us back to the center of ourselves similar to the Sun being the center of our solar system.
