Manager and Clinical Herbalist

Phoenix is a trained and seasoned clinical herbalist, with an emphasis in passion on topics such as plant spirit medicine, essences, death care, mutual aid, mediumship, and the intersection of Herbalism with Astrological traditions. An animistic worldview deeply colors their practice, with the belief that centering and reimagining ecology is at the core of our ability to be well and spirited. She continuously studies and practices within many herbal traditions including Vitalist Herbalism, Medical Astrology, Daoist Five Element philosophy, and beyond. Outside of the apothecary, you can find them honing their crafts, communing with the natural world, and creating across multiple art forms for shows, galleries, and community events!

Clinical Herbalist

Lauren is a clinical herbalist, yoga teacher, nature enthusiast, and dog mom! She finds passion in the communal return home to the Land and Self. Education is at the forefront of her work, as she believes true healing comes from a place of empowerment through informed self-advocacy. When she’s not playing in the herb world, she enjoys facilitating femme gatherings, leading others in movement, and playing in the dirt!

Budding Herbalist

As a lover of nature, Kimmy infuses together her teachings of Yoga, embodiment dance, Reiki, and herbal knowledge to support people coming home to themselves. Kimmy’s desire to dive deeper into herbalism comes from her own journey of navigating and overcoming Graves Disease. She specializes in supporting people through grief work, bridging back the connection to Mother Earth as our first healer.

Clinical Herbalist 

Jill is a trained Clinical Herbalist who's practice is rooted in sharing plant knowledge with their community. Jill thrives in a teaching environment where they can walk newcomers through the basics and make plant science accessible and fun. It never gets old seeing people's interest and excitement at the beginning of their own unique plant journeys. Jill is determined to make learning about plants and nature an ongoing, integral part of their lifelong personal growth. 

Apart from herbs, Jill is currently training to be a pilates instructor. They are incredibly passionate about the intersection of spirituality, nature and movement. You can often find them backpacking, skating, dancing, gardening or lying in a mountain stream somewhere reading tarot.

Budding Herbalist & Production Support

Celeste is a fledgeling student of herbalism, drawn in by the vast changes that plants as medicine have brought into her life. With a long standing relationship to the community on the 1400 block of Ogden, she has worked at various roles throughout The Corner Beet, Rooted Heart Yoga, and Balanced Root Apothecary. Away from work, Celeste is a painter and Yin yoga teacher, and loves spending time in the mountains and snuggling with her cat, Ella.
